Lothlórien - Minas Tirith - Minas Morgul « Thread Started on Jul 27, 2005, 3:09pm »
As Elessar sat in the open garden in Lorien, he looked at the marvellous fountain in front of him, it seemed to him that he saw fish jumping and dancing in it, but then he looked away. He had sent out messengers requesting all abled rulers, leaders and champions to meet him in Lothlórien.
His quest was that they would follow the river down to Amon Hen, from there go down to Minas Tirith, then when full strength gathered, make a full scale attack on the Morgul Vale.

Elbereth walked up the steps where she saw two others sitting. She was still a little worried about the quest because she had just gotten back and not trained yet. Still, she pushed her fear away and walked with a show of confidence, she was honored to have been asked to join the quest, however worried she would be. She politely bowed her head, as was her custom to say hello, especially to people she did not know well. "I am here." she said softly. "I appologize for being late, I see that you have not left yet. So I assume there is still time?" Her words were full of questionable emotions which would be difficult to explain. She knew little of the two that sat in front of her, and her clothes were torn at the bottom from climbing trees, which gave the impression that she was not like other Elfs. And an accurate impression it was. Isil was not used to staying clean and proper like most Elfs, except for the bowing habbit and the way she spoke. She was a bit clumsy and didn't mind getting mud and dirt all over her if she was expected to get a certain job done. This left all of her clothes with tears and stains on them.

Ahhh welcome friend, I see that you are slightly worried, don't be, for we are all friends, we have not set off yet because we wait for our other companions. I see you are weary and tired, do not despair, for after this council I will give evryone time to get ready and changed.
I am Elessar, friend of Many, warrior of the people. And this is Boromir the Blade, strong and courageous. I see you are an elf, graceful and full of beauty, but tell me, what is thy name?

Elbereth looked at the two and bowed as Elessar introduced himself and Boromir. After Elessar's words, Elbereth spoke. "My name is Elbereth." she said softly. Nothing more could come from her lips as she had no other name to her than Elbereth. True she was a traveller, but that did not suit how she felt. She could fight, but had little training. Finally, Elbereth spoke again. "Rest and a change of clothes cannot change my weary state for it seems that I have not stopped travelling since my parents' deaths." She said, her voice now a normal tone, louder than the soft voice she had been speaking in. "However, I do not let being tired get in my way. I will be of any use to you that I can be."

I am sorry for your parents deaths Elbereth, although I reccomend you rest before our long journey, because the next place we rest is as far as Edoras. But I welcome you to this council, and am glad we have you with us.

Eldanár approached the small group, he was riding upon his steed Lossenar, and was followed by two other mounted Elfs, one carrying the standard of rivendell.
'Well met my courageous friends, I am Eldanár, lord of Rivendell, messenger of Elrond, and willing to join this quest of yours,' he raised a hand toward the Elfs behind him, 'When i have spoken to you about the kinds of numbers we need to back us up at the Morgul Vale, I will send them back to rivendell to bring the appropriate amount of warriors to aid us.' he smiled.

Elessar smiled,
I am glad you have come my friend, you are most welcome. We will need at least 200 warriors and bowmen from every hero, or at least as many as they can muster. I have put in the message about this quest that we shall stop at Minas Tirith before we attack Minas Morgul, this is because there we can regroup and attack at full strength, also we can restock on supplies, and rest from our journey there from Lothlórien. Also my garrison is situated there, and I would like Denethor to see the great heroes I bring with me. Many thanks for coming my friends.

We will be taking the long trip from here, over to Edoras, there to rest for a while, then we set off to Dunharrow, and then to Minas Tirith, there to recover strength and ready to seige Minas Morgul. If the siege goes well, we will go south to Harad, to destroy the threat of the Haradrim. We shall set off from the south entrance here.
